Description

July 1999. A fourteen-year-old boy walked out of a neighbor's house in Seligman, Missouri, and was found dead on the railroad tracks less than a day later. For 27 years, police believed he'd simply wandered onto the tracks. Then a sheriff reopened the file, witnesses who'd stayed silent for decades started talking, and in July 2026, three brothers were arrested and charged with his murder. This is the story of Justin Hocutt: a case once written off as an accident, and the investigation that turned it into a murder charge nearly three decades later. Mark Scott, Bobby Scott, and David Scott have been charged with first-degree murder. They have not been convicted, and each is entitled to a fair trial. Subscribe to Radius of Crime for more cold cases where old evidence and new witnesses reopen questions people thought would never be answered. #JustinHocutt #coldcasesolved #TrueCrime
