Try Tripo: https://tripo.pxf.io/YVvQyq?p.invite_code=3R8DAR New users get 500 free credits with the link within 24 hours, plus 60% off their first month with discount code TRIPOCREW. My Patronite: https://www.patreon.com/CanItCode/ Is this really Godot? A neon cyberpunk shooter with wet streets, a shop you can smash, doors you open with your own hands, turrets, a rocket launcher and a swarm of alien bugs. Claude Opus 5.5 built all of it in the Godot engine, and in this video I show you how, step by step: what we tried first and what didn't work. How we work: Opus 5.5 builds everything, GPT-6 Astra draws the pictures, Tripo makes the smaller 3D models, and I give the ideas, the directions and do the testing. In this video: - Three ways to build the same wall: Tripo, a Blender script, and Blender + GPT's drawing (the winner) - How one wall is made: GPT draws it, a script measures the drawing, textures made to repeat - A test that breaks the street on purpose, and a bot that walks every stair up to the roof - 18 props for a rooftop camp in one command with Tripo CLI - The light: from orange soup to a look I finally like - The shop: real glass, thousands of things on the shelves, doors you open with your hands, Jolt physics - The bugs: one brain for a whole swarm vs. each bug with its own brain, and legs that walk in code - The explosion: real footage frame by frame, GPT's sprite sheets, then a Seedance clip cut into 64 frames - A whole small city with over a hundred new neon signs Should I build the same game in Unreal Engine so we can compare the results? Tell me in the comments. Everything you see in this video (the wall modules, GPT's textures, the 18 Tripo props, the creatures, the turret, the explosion effects, the neon signs and the whole game) will land on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/CanItCode Tripo CLI: https://developers.tripo3d.ai/en/docs/quick-start My last video, where Opus 5.5 built the cube shooter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdOtbE9zvkY Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:35 Where it started 01:00 The idea 01:11 How we work: Opus 5.5, GPT and Tripo 01:31 The plan 01:55 Three ways to build a wall 03:11 How one wall is made 04:31 The street and its tests 05:03 The rooftop camp with Tripo CLI 06:38 The light 07:24 The shop, the doors and Jolt physics 08:15 The bugs 09:16 Turrets, a rocket launcher and the explosion 09:54 The explosion, take two: Seedance 10:23 The whole city Sources - Real AT4 rocket footage (studied frame by frame): "AT4 Shooting to wall. Live museum Vilnius" by Tankodromas Vilnius, youtube.com/watch?v=CY8YrlGCYGg - Horizon Forbidden West screenshot: Guerrilla Games / Sony Interactive Entertainment (official Steam page), shown because the game uses Jolt Physics (github.com/jrouwe/JoltPhysics) - Built in Godot 4.7 (Jolt Physics) and Blender. 3D models: Tripo (tripo3d.ai). Pictures and textures: GPT-6 Astra. Explosion clip: Seedance 2.5. Creature sounds: Freesound (CC0). Music: Nocturnal Pads.
