Description

We're building a whole survival game with AI, and this river isn't simulated while you play. We cut the empty riverbed into 39,312 tiny squares, poured water in at the top and let the PC work it out. It took about a minute on a laptop. The result is saved into one small file (614 KB) that the game just reads. On top of that we paint the waves and the foam, and the water still moves around your legs when you walk in.
