Description

In October 2025, KPMG published a report on the safe use of artificial intelligence. Of its 45 sources, 40 did not exist. The AI had invented them, and the report went out to the world as fact. KPMG is one of the Big Four accounting firms. Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC audit almost every large public company on earth. Their entire purpose is to catch the lie before the rest of us believe it. This is the story of what happened when they stopped. Over twenty years and four continents, the Big Four have stolen a regulator's confidential inspection list, cheated on their own ethics exams, forged audit documents and handed them to a government inspector, produced a report that helped remove a nation's finance minister, signed off on billions of dollars that had never existed, and given three American banks a clean bill of health weeks before they collapsed. Every case in this video is on the public record. Court filings, regulator orders, sworn testimony. We cover the KPMG PCAOB inspection scandal and the $50 million SEC settlement, the Carillion collapse and the record FRC fines for misleading inspectors, the KPMG South Africa SARS report and state capture under the Gupta family, the 1MDB fund and the $2.3 billion nobody could produce, the Wirecard fraud and EY's decade of clean audit opinions, the failures of Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and First Republic in a single season, and the destruction of Arthur Andersen after Enron, along with the Supreme Court ruling that overturned the conviction four years too late. The question underneath all of it: who checks the people who check everything, and what happens when the answer is no one? Power isn't built on the truth. It's built on belief. ⚠ Every source is listed below. Go and check us. Power is built. Ruin is earned. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📩 Power & Ruin Collapse Playbook Investigating 200+ Companies with Bonus Theranos Case File : → news.powerandruin.com/subscribe ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ About Power & Ruin Power & Ruin investigates the psychology behind companies, movements, and belief systems that reshaped the world, and why their collapse was inevitable.
