Tygra Built Everything in ThunderCats — So Why Was He Never King?

In ThunderCats, Tygra was far more than Lion-O’s second-in-command. He was the architect behind the Cats’ Lair, a trusted advisor, and the ThunderCat Lion-O would choose to lead if he never returned. But if Tygra was so qualified to lead, why was he never King? In this video, we uncover the hidden story of Tygra in ThunderCats, his relationship with Lion-O, his role within the ThunderCats, and the moment in “All That Glitters” when Lion-O reveals who would become the next Lord of the ThunderCats. We’ll also explore why Tygra’s role as the calm, experienced leader beside Lion-O may have been far more important than the crown itself. If you grew up watching ThunderCats in the 1980s, you may remember Tygra as the quiet, intelligent, and dependable member of the team. But watching the classic series again as an adult reveals a very different side of the character. Was Tygra the ThunderCat who should have been King? Watch until the end and decide for yourself. #ThunderCats #Tygra #LionO #80sCartoons #ThunderCats1985
