WHO WAS MELCHIZEDEK? The Priest With No Beginning.

Who Was Melchizedek? The Priest Who Shouldn't Exist in the Bible He had no father recorded. No mother. No tribe, no birth story, no death notice — in a book obsessed with genealogy, he's the one man Genesis refuses to explain. A king and a priest in one, blessing Abram with bread and wine a thousand years before the Law of Moses even existed. Then he vanishes. But he doesn't stay gone. A psalm reaches back for his name. Centuries later, the Book of Hebrews uses this nearly forgotten figure to make one of the boldest arguments in the entire New Testament — that Jesus holds a priesthood higher than every priest Israel ever ordained, and that Melchizedek was the pattern for it all along. In this video, we trace the mystery of Melchizedek from Genesis 14 through Psalm 110 to Hebrews 7 — separating what Scripture actually says from ancient Jewish tradition, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and later interpretation — to understand why God let this man remain unexplained, and why that silence still matters today. 📖 Scriptures covered: Genesis 14:18-20 | Psalm 110:4 | Hebrews 7:1-25 🔥 If this changed how you read Genesis 14, tell me in the comments which detail surprised you most — and subscribe for the next hidden thread in Scripture. #Melchizedek #BibleMysteries #ChristianMysteries #Genesis #Hebrews #BiblicalHistory #Priesthood #Prophecy #BibleStudy #ChristianContent
