Nobody Is Safe From The APEX PREDATOR, VORINCLEX!

Vorinclex is the savage heart of New Phyrexia. The colossal, green mana-aligned Praetor who believes only the strongest deserve to survive. Ruler of the Vicious Swarm, he rejects civilization, intelligence, and hierarchy in favor of a world ruled entirely by instinct, predator and prey, and brutal natural selection. Here's the complete story of Magic: The Gathering's ultimate apex predator. In this Magic: The Gathering lore guide, we explore the complete story of Vorinclex, the green-aligned Praetor whose vision for New Phyrexia was shaped by survival of the fittest rather than religious unity. Along the way, we'll examine how his primal philosophy contrasted with Elesh Norn's Machine Orthodoxy, Jin-Gitaxias' endless pursuit of perfection, Sheoldred's political ambition, and Urabrask's belief in freedom. From the fall of Mirrodin to his terrifying mission on Kaldheim, the creation of Realmbreaker, and the climactic battles of March of the Machine, discover why Vorinclex became one of the most terrifying forces in MTG lore—and why, unlike the other Praetors, his ultimate fate may still be one of Magic's biggest unanswered questions.
