Unmanned Rice Transplanter with Plastic Mulch, Weed Control Without Chemical Herbicide

This autonomous rice transplanter combines rice seedling planting and mulch laying in one single pass across the paddy field. It automatically lays black plastic film before planting rice seedlings through precise openings on the mulch layer. The mulch blocks sunlight and suppresses weed growth, removing the need for chemical herbicides to control weeds in rice paddies. Farmers only need to load rice seedlings, and the machine drives itself to finish transplanting work steadily in the water-filled paddy field. The seedlings are planted with consistent spacing and depth, creating neat rows across the wet field. Traditional rice farming usually relies heavily on herbicides for weed management, which brings extra costs and chemical residues. This mulch planting method achieves physical weed suppression, protecting the ecological environment and producing cleaner rice. The unmanned design frees farmers from long hours of hard work in muddy paddies, improving planting efficiency greatly. Have you seen this eco-friendly smart rice planting machine before?
