Description

▶ THE COMPLETE GUIDE (the page from the video + the full skin and gray hair methods): https://docfederer.com ▶ THE FASTER VARIANT I MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO If your hair is still mostly brown with just some gray coming in, this rinse acts sooner than the sage and rosemary one (it is more temporary, and it works better on brown hair than on white): 1. Brew 4 black tea bags, or 2 tablespoons of ground coffee, in 2 cups (500 ml) of water. 2. Let it cool COMPLETELY. This matters: hot liquid on the scalp does nothing good. 3. After shampooing, pour it slowly through your hair over a bowl, catch it and pour it through again, 3 or 4 times. 4. Leave it on 20 minutes, then finish with a cool (not cold) rinse. Coffee reads warmer and browner; black tea reads cooler and darker. Patch test first. ▶ BONUS FOR A TIRED FACE IN THE EVENING A cool compress: 2 teaspoons of dried chamomile or loose green tea (or 2 tea bags) in 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) of hot water, steep 10 minutes, strain, cool, then 15 minutes in the fridge. Soak a clean cloth, wring it lightly and rest it on your cheeks, forehead and chin for 5 to 10 minutes. Follow with your usual moisturizer. Don't put it on ice-cold, and never longer than 10 minutes. ELEANOR'S NIGHT RITUAL 1. Rosemary night toner (face): 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary (or 2 fresh sprigs) + 1 cup (250 ml) of water. Boil, take it off the heat, add the rosemary, cover and steep 10-15 minutes. Strain and let it cool completely. Sweep it over the face and neck with a cotton pad (avoid the eyes), let it dry, then your night cream. 3-4 nights a week. Keeps 3 days in the fridge. 2. Upward massage: 1 teaspoon of almond, jojoba or fractionated coconut oil. Small circles from the chin toward the ears, sweep from the corners of the mouth up to the temples, glide from between the brows out to the temples, tap around the eyes with the ring finger. Always up and out, never down. 8-10 minutes, 3-4 times a week. 3. Sage and rosemary rinse (hair): 4 tablespoons of dried sage + 2 tablespoons of dried rosemary in 2 cups (500 ml) of water. Simmer 30 minutes with the lid on, cool completely, strain. After shampooing, pour it through the hair 3-4 times over a bowl. Do not rinse it out. Once or twice a week; expect a visible deepening in 4-6 weeks. It is not a dye. The detail almost everyone gets backwards: always COOL on the face, cooled completely for the hair, and a cool final splash for shine. WHEN TO STOP OR SEE A DOCTOR • Patch test first: a little on the inner forearm, 24 hours for the toner, 48 hours for the hair rinse. • Very sensitive skin or rosacea: start with the toner once a week. • Redness, itching or burning: stop and rinse with lukewarm water. If it doesn't calm down in 48 hours, call your doctor. • Under dermatology treatment or using prescription creams: ask before adding a toner or massage. • A spot or mole that changes, grows or bleeds, a lump on the scalp, or hair falling out in round patches: that is an appointment, not a remedy. • Pregnant or breastfeeding: ask your doctor before using topical herbs. This video is educational and cosmetic. These rituals help the skin look fresher and more rested and the hair look deeper and shinier over time; they do not erase wrinkles, they are not a hair dye and they do not replace your doctor's advice. Eleanor and Diane are composite stories based on the kind of patients a doctor sees, with names and details changed. No brands, no sponsors. #rosemary #sage #skincareover60 #grayhair #naturalremedies
