Camping With Old Friends | A Weekend Reunion Around the Campfire

There’s just something special about camping with old friends, especially when those friendships go all the way back to your younger days! For this camping weekend, Paula and I got together with Sandra and Bobby, the former singer of Chastity Rose, the band I played with years ago. What started as a simple weekend camping trip turned into one of those weekends filled with stories, laughter, great food and memories of days gone by. Paula cooked us a wonderful meal, we spent time relaxing around camp, and when evening arrived we gathered around the campfire and enjoyed exactly what camping with good friends is supposed to be about. No big agenda. No complicated plans. Just four friends spending a weekend together, eating good food, sitting around a campfire and enjoying each other’s company. And naturally, when Bobby and I get together after all these years, a few stories from the old Chastity Rose band days are bound to come up! Sometimes the best adventures aren’t about how far you travel or what attraction you visit. Sometimes they’re simply about slowing down, reconnecting with people who have been part of your life for decades, and realizing how quickly the years have gone by. Come camping with us as we spend a wonderful weekend with Bobby and Sandra, share a home-cooked meal prepared by Paula, sit around the campfire, laugh about old times and remember some of the great memories from our Chastity Rose days.
