Description

📕 Get The Lunch Lady's Home Cleaning Handbook, every method in this video written down with the amounts, in the order you would really do them: https://doriscleans.com Five things about cleaning that are true whether anybody admits them or not. Not tips. Nothing to buy. Every one of them takes something off you instead of putting something on. The reason you have never heard them is not that somebody is hiding them. It is that all five make the job smaller, and there is nothing to sell on the back of a smaller job, so they do not travel. Here is the short version of all five. Nobody is ever going to notice. A clean room has no feature for the eye to catch on, so the work only ever gets seen by its absence, and that was never a verdict on you. Almost nothing in your house needs more force. Nearly all of it needs more time. Wet it, walk out of the room, come back in ten minutes, and it lifts with a cloth. There is no caught up. A house is a building with people living in it, so it makes work every hour it runs. You cannot be behind on a thing that has no finish. Almost all the cleaning advice you were ever handed came from somebody who was never once held to it by another person. Advice that feels satisfying survives. Advice that is merely correct gets dropped. And the fifth one took me thirty-five years, and I will tell you where I was sitting when I finally worked it out. I'm Mrs. Doris. Thirty-five years behind a school lunch line in Scioto County, Ohio, four hundred children a day on a dollar and five cents a tray. I show you what actually works, I tell you where it stops, and I say so when the common advice has it wrong. TONIGHT, TEN MINUTES, AND NINE OF THEM YOU ARE NOT IN THE ROOM - Put water in whatever is worst in your sink. Hot, with a squeeze of dish soap. - Walk out. Do something else for ten minutes. - Come back and wipe it. Use almost no pressure, and notice how little you need. - That is the whole task. It is the only one of the five that hands you time back the same evening. IF TEN MINUTES DOES NOT TOUCH IT Then it has been sitting a lot longer than a day, and no amount of arm is going to shorten that. It wants an hour or it wants doing twice. The only thing that changes is the number on the clock, never the pressure. WHAT I USED - The Bureau of Labor Statistics American Time Use Survey, 2025 annual averages, Table 1: women average about 2.38 hours a day on household activities, and 86.7 percent do some on an average day. Spoken in the video as about two hours and twenty minutes, and nearly nine in ten. - A note on that number, because the press write-up gives a higher one. The higher figure is an average among people who did the activity that day, not an average across everyone. I am giving you the table figure, which is lower and is the right one. The rest of what I tell you is not from a study. It is thirty-five years in a building that got inspected whether I felt like it or not, which is the only reason I trust the handful of things I say. So tell me which of the five landed, and do not be polite about it. I would guess number three for most of you. And tell me what county you are in, because I read every one. #cleaningtips #housework #oldschoolcleaning #cleaningmotivation
