Description

📕 Get The Lunch Lady's Home Cleaning Handbook, every method in this video written down with the amounts, in the order you would really do them: https://doriscleans.com How to clean a glass stove top with a lemon and baking soda, and why rubbing them on together is the wrong way to do it. The fizz everybody films is the lemon and the soda cancelling each other out. Do it in two passes and the white rings come right off. There are three different marks on your glass stove top, and each one needs a different thing: • The WHITE rings are rock. Lime from the water, baked on when a pot boils over. Lemon takes it. • The GRAY line you think is a scratch usually isn't. It's metal rubbed off the bottom of a pot. Baking soda paste takes it, and the fingernail test tells you which you've got. • The BROWN crust is charcoal. It answers to a scraper at a low angle, on wet glass, the way I learned on a school griddle. Plus the one spill that breaks every rule: sugar. And why the white rings come back two weeks later (it's the sponge). I'm Mrs. Doris. Thirty-five years running a school kitchen in Scioto County, Ohio. I tell you what works, where it stops, and when the common advice has it backwards. No products named, nothing to order. TONIGHT, ONE FINGERNAIL • Run your fingernail across that gray line. • If it catches, it's a scratch. Stop worrying at it. • If it doesn't, it's metal, and a spoonful of baking soda takes it off. #cleaningtips #glassstovetop #oldschoolcleaning
