Flying The World's Most Powerful Stealth Bomber

The B-2 scramble from start to finish is very intense, it starts on the runway at Whiteman Airforce Base in Missouri, where 12 stealth bombers launched one at a time in April of 2024. That was the majority of the fleet that they had, in one line. Next we go back to where the idea of them even came from. Cold War crews living right next to the bombers in a sunken building they nicknamed the Molehole, with only 15 minutes to get off the ground. Then one B-2 Commander will walk us through it, an alarm, a dash to the minivans, and a red switch on the nose gear that springs the jets to live before the crew can even get inside. Plus why does the stealth coating need the climate controlled hanger, why does the B-52 starts its engine with gunpowder, yep gunpowder, and how a little bit of water in the wrong place managed to bring down a B-2. Only 19 are left. This is how the Air Force keeps them ready. If you enjoy this video please check out our channel for more like it.
