CIA Psychic Experiments: A True Cold War Mystery

For twenty-three years, the CIA and the U.S. military paid people to spy using only their minds. The program cost more than $20 million. And this is not a conspiracy theory: in 2017, the CIA put its declassified archive online, and the files are there for anyone to read. This is the true story of Project Stargate, one of the strangest chapters of the Cold War: the physicists who ran the first experiments, the psychics whose sessions still divide researchers today, the 1995 report that closed the program without ever truly closing the question, and the declassified files that are still being argued over. A history documentary about Cold War secrets, human perception and one of the most debated declassified programs in American history.
