Description

Cherry Peach Crumble — a viewer's peach pie, minus the crust, with a buttery oat topping. Made with frozen fruit. A viewer named David from Georgia sent us this one, and I love the story behind it. He and his family were making peach pie, heard about adding cherries to it, tried it, then decided they liked it better without the crust at all. What they landed on is this cherry peach crumble, and it is so good. I made mine with frozen peaches and frozen cherries on purpose, because I wanted to show you that you can put this together in the middle of January and it'll still taste like summer. 👩🏻‍🍳 Get the full printable recipe on the blog: https://marykatherinestable.com/cherry-peach-crumble/ INGREDIENTS: For the fruit: 4 cups frozen peaches 2 cups frozen sweet cherries, sliced in half 1/3 cup sugar 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon cardamom For the crumble topping: 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 stick butter, grated Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes. I went 50 minutes because I started with frozen fruit. Let it rest 10 to 15 minutes before serving, and don't skip the vanilla ice cream.
