We Got Boyd Completely Wrong | FROM

Boyd Stevens has never asked to be saved. Everyone in FROM depends on his competence... his calm approach, his willingness to walk into whatever the town demands of him while the rest of them fall apart. They call it strength and leadership. But nobody stops to question if he's doing okay. This video essay is a film analysis of what FROM season 4 has been doing to Boyd all along. Not what's being done to him by the creatures, or the mythology, or the town's unanswerable questions. What's being done to him by the people who love him. Because the cruelest thing FROM has ever staged isn't a monster in the trees. It's a man who cannot afford to break down because too many people are waiting for him to hold it together.
