Description

Donate: https://stub.africa/@accolonn Has AgriSA betrayed South African farmers? In this video, I challenge AgriSA’s position on farm murders and examine the Institute for Security Studies’ findings on farm attacks, rural safety and claims of an organised campaign against white farmers. I explain why I believe quoting farm murders as a percentage of South Africa’s total murders fails to address the risks facing farmers. I also discuss the ANC’s record on rural security, the dismantling of commando units, and the controversy surrounding “Kill the Boer”. Beyond crime statistics, I question whose interests AgriSA represents. From land expropriation to foot-and-mouth disease and John Steenhuisen’s vaccine policy, I argue that small and medium farmers need stronger, independent representation. Could alternative suppliers, local networks and independent agricultural organisations offer a way forward? But this is also a message of hope. Drawing on 1 Thessalonians 2, I reflect on Christian faith, righteousness and trusting God through injustice. I explain why we should pray for the repentance of leaders such as Julius Malema and Cyril Ramaphosa, and why hope in Jesus Christ should shape our response to South Africa’s challenges.
