Description

Somewhere in your kitchen cabinet, there might be a Pyrex piece worth more than everything else on that shelf combined. In this video I walk through thirteen old Pyrex pieces that are turning up in ordinary American kitchens right now, from mixing bowls and casserole dishes to refrigerator sets, some of them patterns you have probably walked past a hundred times without a second look, and others rare colorways and short-run pieces that have sold for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars at auction. I am Roy Danforth, and for thirty-eight years I have been buying and pricing estate sales, flea markets and antique mall booths across the Ohio Valley and the Midwest. In that time I have watched families give away real money in cardboard boxes simply because nobody ever taught them what to check before the donation van pulled up. I will be straight with you from the start, most Pyrex is not worth much, and I am not going to inflate that for you. But the exceptions are real, and they are sitting in ordinary kitchens right now, including possibly yours. For every piece on this list, I will show you exactly what to look for on the base, the mark, and the pattern itself, so you know within a minute whether what you own is common or genuinely rare. Do not sell anything, do not donate anything, until you have gone through this whole list. If you find this useful, consider subscribing, because I go through a new cabinet every single week. And stay to the end, because the piece at number one is the one almost nobody checks for, and it has sold for more than every other piece on this list combined.
