Description

On the morning of the 30th April, 1980, six heavily armed men stormed the Iranian embassy in London and seized control of the building. 26 hostages were captured, trapped inside for six tense days, until it was brought to a dramatic end with a remarkable SAS operation. In today's video we will look at the Iranian Embassy siege, the motivations of the hostage takers and the televised bloody end to the siege.
