Scientists Brought an EXTINCT Animal Back to Life 🤯 #Shorts #ExtinctAnimals

Scientists actually brought an **extinct animal back to life.** The Pyrenean ibex, also known as the **bucardo**, went extinct in 2000 after the final known female, Celia, died. But scientists had preserved her cells — and only a few years later, they used those cells to create a cloned embryo. In 2003, a cloned Pyrenean ibex was **born alive**. Its heart was beating, it opened its eyes, and for a few minutes, an animal that had already gone extinct was alive again. This became one of the most unbelievable experiments in **de-extinction, extinct animal cloning, genetics, and bringing extinct species back to life.** Could scientists eventually do something similar with the **woolly mammoth, dodo, thylacine, dire wolf, or other extinct animals?** #Shorts #ExtinctAnimals #DeExtinction #Cloning #PrehistoricAnimals
