Description

Every human being who has ever lived traces back to one mother, حواء عليها السلام. The Qur'an tells us she was created so that آدم عليه السلام could find tranquility with her, yet it never once mentions her by name. In this video we follow her story from the Garden to the earth: the slip and the repentance they shared, the first family and the first grief, the day the angels came for آدم عليه السلام, her final year, and the grave in Jeddah that people have pointed to for centuries. Throughout the video, we separate what the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah tell us from what comes only from later historical reports, so you can see the story as it has truly come down to us. And Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows best. 📖 Qur'an references Surah Al-A'raf 7:189 (her creation as a mate for tranquility) Surah Al-A'raf 7:20–24 (the whisper, the repentance, the descent) Surah Al-Baqarah 2:30, 2:35, 2:37 (the successive authority, the Garden, the accepted repentance) Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:27–31 (the two sons of آدم عليه السلام) Surah Aal 'Imran 3:185 (every soul will taste death) Surah An-Nisa 4:1 (mankind spread from one soul and its mate) quran.com 📚 Hadith references Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3076: the forty years آدم عليه السلام gave to داود عليه السلام (graded hasan sahih by at-Tirmidhi). https://sunnah.com/tirmidhi:3076 Jami' at-Tirmidhi: another narration mentioning the thousand years written for آدم عليه السلام (graded hasan gharib by at-Tirmidhi) Sahih al-Bukhari 3335 and Sahih Muslim 1677: the first son of آدم عليه السلام bears a share of every unjust killing Sahih Muslim 969: the instruction of علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه to level raised graves. https://sunnah.com/muslim:969a The narration of أُبَيّ بن كعب رضي الله عنه on the death of آدم عليه السلام: reported by عبد الله بن أحمد in the additions to Musnad Ahmad. It is a statement of the Companion (mawquf), and al-Haythami رحمه الله said its narrators are trustworthy. 🔍 Scholarly references IslamQA 141280: where آدم عليه السلام and حواء عليها السلام came down to earth. https://islamqa.info/en/answers/141280 IslamQA 83133: the Sunnah regarding the height of graves. https://islamqa.info/en/answers/83133 IslamQA 379392: the marriages among the children of آدم عليه السلام Islamweb Fatwa 358999: the narration of أُبَيّ بن كعب رضي الله عنه and its grading Islamweb Fatwa 52025: the scholars' explanations for the name of Arafah (القرطبي رحمه الله) Tafsir ابن كثير رحمه الله: commentary on 2:35 and 5:27 (via the islamweb.net library) البداية والنهاية by ابن كثير رحمه الله: شيث عليه السلام and the passing of حواء عليها السلام (via the islamweb.net library) ⚠️ Note: Details such as the landing places, the Arafat reunion, the names هابيل and قابيل, the life of شيث عليه السلام, the timing of her death, and the Jeddah grave come from later historical reports. They are not established in the Qur'an or authentic Sunnah, and they are presented in the video as such. Write "SubhanAllah" in the comments if this story touched your heart, and share it with your family, because every one of them is also a child of حواء عليها السلام.
