Description

What exactly is the Shroud of Turin? It's a linen cloth roughly 14 feet long and 3½ feet wide, bearing faint front and back images of a severely injured man. Across the image are markings associated with scourging, injuries near the wrists and feet, wounds around the head, trauma to the face, and a large wound near the side of the body. For anyone familiar with the Gospel accounts of the Passion of Jesus Christ, the resemblance is striking. But resemblance alone doesn't establish identity. Is the Shroud really an ancient burial cloth—or an extraordinary medieval artifact created by someone intimately familiar with the Crucifixion story? And perhaps most mysteriously: how was the image itself produced? ▶️ Watch the full Shroud of Turin investigation on Crown & Palm Chronicles as we examine the history, scientific testing, radiocarbon dating, image formation, and evidence surrounding one of Christianity's most debated artifacts. #ShroudOfTurin #JesusChrist #Crucifixion #PassionOfChrist #ChristianHistory
