Judith Chapter 14 | The Enemy Discovers Holofernes Is Dead

Judith Chapter 14 | The Enemy Discovers Holofernes Is Dead The morning after Judith's daring act, the Assyrian camp is about to collapse into chaos. Judith tells the people of Bethulia to take Holofernes' head and hang it from the city wall. Then she gives them instructions: when the Assyrians discover what has happened, they will be terrified and flee. Uzziah sends word throughout the city, ordering the fighting men to prepare for the pursuit. Meanwhile, Achior is brought forward. When he sees Holofernes' head, he is overwhelmed. He falls down, and after recovering, he praises the God of Israel and declares his faith in Him. Achior becomes part of the people of Israel. Then the Israelites prepare for battle. The Assyrians are about to wake up and discover that their commander is dead. Their army has lost its leader. Their confidence is about to disappear. And the people who were surrounded by an overwhelming enemy are now preparing to chase them from the land. 📖 Judith Chapter 14 THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK @enjoybiblestories #Judith14 #Judith #BookOfJudith #BibleStories #BibleShorts #BibleStudy #BibleExplained #Holofernes #JudithAndHolofernes #Achior #Bethulia #AssyrianArmy #Israel #DeuterocanonicalBooks #CatholicBible #BiblicalHistory #Faith #Courage #Scripture #Christian #EnjoyBibleStories Judith Chapter 14, Judith 14 explained, Judith chapter 14 Bible story, Book of Judith, Book of Judith explained, Judith Bible story, Judith Bible Shorts, Judith kills Holofernes, Holofernes head, Judith and Holofernes, Achior, Achior Bible story, Achior and Holofernes, Bethulia, Israelites and Assyrians, Assyrian army, Assyrian camp, Holofernes death, Judith saves Israel, Judith victory, Israelites prepare for battle, Assyrian army loses commander, Judith Bible study, Deuterocanonical books, Deuterocanonical Bible, Catholic Bible stories, biblical history, Bible stories, Bible Shorts, Christian Bible stories, women of the Bible, faith and courage, God delivers Israel, THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK, Enjoy Bible Stories
