Esther Chapter 3 | Haman's Plot to Destroy the Jews | Bible Stories Media Network Haman rises to power in the Persian Empire. King Ahasuerus elevates Haman above the other officials, and the king's servants bow before him. But Mordecai refuses to bow. Haman becomes furious. When he discovers that Mordecai is Jewish, his anger grows into something far more dangerous. He decides that destroying Mordecai alone is not enough. Haman seeks to destroy all the Jews throughout the Persian Empire. He casts lots—called Purim—to determine the day for his plan. Then Haman approaches King Ahasuerus and accuses the Jews of living by different laws and refusing to obey the king's commands. The king gives Haman authority to act. A royal decree is written and sent throughout the empire, ordering the destruction of the Jewish people—young and old, women and children—on a single appointed day. The news spreads. The city of Susa is thrown into confusion. And Esther, still unaware of the full danger surrounding her people, is now sitting inside the very palace from which their destruction has been decreed. 📖 Esther Chapter 3 THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK @enjoybiblestories #Esther3 #Esther #BookOfEsther #Haman #Mordecai #QueenEsther #BibleStories #BibleShorts #BibleStudy #BibleExplained #PersianEmpire #Purim #EstherBibleStory #BiblicalHistory #DeuterocanonicalBooks #CatholicBible #Christian #Scripture #EnjoyBibleStories Esther Chapter 3, Esther 3 explained, Esther chapter 3 Bible story, Book of Esther, Esther Bible story, Esther Bible Shorts, Haman plot, Haman and Mordecai, Haman Bible story, Haman wants to destroy the Jews, Haman destroys the Jews, Mordecai refuses to bow, Mordecai and Haman, Queen Esther, King Ahasuerus, Persian Empire, Jewish people in Persia, decree against the Jews, Haman casts lots, Purim, Esther Bible study, Book of Esther explained, biblical history, Deuterocanonical books, Deuterocanonical Bible, Catholic Bible stories, Old Testament Bible stories, Bible stories, Bible Shorts, Christian Bible stories, Scripture, women of the Bible, THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK, Enjoy Bible Stories
