Judith Chapter 15 | Israel Celebrates Victory Over Holofernes | Bible Stories Media Network

Judith Chapter 13 | Judith Beheads Holofernes | Bible Stories Media Network Judith Chapter 13 is the turning point of the entire Book of Judith. The banquet is over. Holofernes has drunk heavily and is left alone in his tent with Judith. His servants withdraw, leaving the Assyrian commander vulnerable and unaware of what is about to happen. Judith stands beside his bed and prays silently, asking the God of Israel to strengthen her for the task before her. Then she takes Holofernes' own sword. With both hands, she strikes him twice and cuts off his head. She gives the head to her maid, who places it in their food bag. Together, they leave the Assyrian camp as they normally would, using their established routine as their cover. Judith returns to Bethulia and presents Holofernes' head to the people. The man who came to destroy Israel is dead. Judith then declares that God has protected her and used her to bring deliverance to His people. The city erupts in celebration. But the Assyrian army still does not know what has happened. By morning, they are about to discover that their commander is dead—and everything is about to change. 📖 Judith Chapter 13 THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK @enjoybiblestories #Judith13 #Judith #BookOfJudith #JudithBeheadsHolofernes #JudithAndHolofernes #Holofernes #JudithBibleStory #BibleStories #BibleShorts #BibleStudy #BibleExplained #Bethulia #AssyrianArmy #DeuterocanonicalBooks #CatholicBible #BiblicalHistory #Christian #Scripture #Faith #Courage #EnjoyBibleStories Judith Chapter 13, Judith 13 explained, Judith chapter 13 Bible story, Book of Judith, Book of Judith explained, Judith Bible story, Judith Bible Shorts, Judith beheads Holofernes, Judith kills Holofernes, Judith and Holofernes, Holofernes death, Holofernes head, Judith cuts off Holofernes head, Judith sword, Judith returns to Bethulia, Judith presents Holofernes head, Bethulia, Assyrian army, Judith saves Israel, Judith victory, Judith prayer, Judith courage, Judith faith, Judith Bible study, Deuterocanonical books, Deuterocanonical Bible, Catholic Bible stories, biblical history, Old Testament Bible stories, Bible stories, Bible Shorts, Christian Bible stories, Scripture, women of the Bible, THE BIBLE STORIES MEDIA NETWORK, Enjoy Bible Stories
