Daily Bible Verse + Prayer for Today | Deuteronomy 33:27 | Morning Devotional

Does it feel as though the ground beneath you has given way? Begin your day with Deuteronomy 33:27 and a comforting morning prayer about finding refuge in God and resting in His everlasting arms. “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” - Deuteronomy 33:27 (KJV, excerpt) When circumstances change suddenly, it can feel like you are falling with nothing to catch you. Financial pressure, illness, family struggles, and an uncertain future can leave you wondering how you will keep going. Today’s Scripture draws our attention to one reassuring word: “underneath.” Moses describes the eternal God as a refuge for His people, with everlasting arms beneath them. This picture invites us to trust His sustaining care in the places where we feel most vulnerable. In today’s morning devotional, we reflect on three comforting truths: • God is a refuge we can turn to in uncertainty. • His everlasting arms remind us of His enduring strength. • We can bring our burdens to Him and ask Him to carry us through each day. You may not know when this difficult season will change. You can still turn to God today, trusting that His strength reaches beyond your own. Bring Him the fear, the exhaustion, and the needs you have struggled to put into words.
