Oumar Kane vs Batradz Gazzaev | MMA MONSTER Brutally Destroyed The Undefeated RUSSIAN KO Machine

BEFORE THE FIRST PUNCH WAS EVEN THROWN, THIS HEAVYWEIGHT SHOWDOWN HAD ALREADY TURNED PERSONAL! Two enormous fighters. Two explosive wrestling backgrounds. One undefeated Russian knockout machine. And a terrifying Senegalese powerhouse known throughout the combat sports world as REUG REUG. When Oumar Kane and Batradz Gazzaev came face-to-face ahead of ONE 161, the atmosphere was anything but friendly. What should have been a routine ceremonial faceoff quickly erupted into an aggressive confrontation. The Russian refused to back down, tensions exploded, and the two heavyweights had to be separated after things turned physical. The message was unmistakable. Neither man had come to Singapore to show respect and walk away quietly. But behind all that aggression was a fascinating clash between two very different journeys into professional MMA. BATRADZ GAZZAEV – THE UNDEFEATED RUSSIAN KO MACHINE Representing Russia's formidable wrestling tradition, Batradz "Cannibal" Gazzaev arrived in ONE Championship with a perfect professional record of 3-0. Even more intimidating? Every single victory had come by TKO. Three fights. Three stoppages. Zero defeats. A powerful wrestler from North Ossetia, Gazzaev had built his reputation on physical strength, relentless pressure, and the ability to overwhelm opponents before they could find an answer. Now, making his ONE Championship debut, the undefeated Russian was stepping into the biggest opportunity of his MMA career. And standing across from him was a man who looked almost impossible to intimidate. OUMAR KANE – THE SENEGALESE HEAVYWEIGHT MONSTER Before becoming one of the most feared physical specimens in ONE Championship, Oumar "Reug Reug" Kane had already established himself through the brutal world of traditional Senegalese wrestling. A mountain of muscle with extraordinary explosive power, Kane brought something different into the MMA cage. His wrestling wasn't simply about controlling opponents. It was about imposing his strength, breaking their balance, and forcing them into exhausting physical battles. But this fight carried enormous importance for the Senegalese sensation. Following a frustrating defeat against Kirill Grishenko in April 2021, Kane had spent more than a year away from MMA competition. Questions surrounded his conditioning, his development, and whether his extraordinary athletic gifts could translate into success against increasingly dangerous opponents. Against Gazzaev, there would be nowhere to hide. The Russian possessed the wrestling ability to challenge Kane's greatest weapon, the confidence of an undefeated fighter, and the aggression to make every exchange dangerous. And there was another extraordinary detail: Reug Reug weighed nearly 35 pounds more than his Russian opponent! Would Kane's overwhelming size and explosive strength decide the battle? Or could Gazzaev's wrestling pedigree, relentless determination, and knockout power turn this into a nightmare for the Senegalese giant? The confrontation before the fight had already made one thing clear. THIS WAS NEVER GOING TO BE AN ORDINARY HEAVYWEIGHT MMA BATTLE. Inside the ONE Championship Circle, there would be no more face-to-face threats, no more pushing, and no more opportunities to intimidate an opponent with words. Only two powerful heavyweights, their wrestling skills, their fists, and the unforgiving reality of a fight neither man wanted to lose.
