Jonathan Haggerty vs Fabricio Andrade | Undefeated MMA MONSTER's BRUTAL WAR With The Wrong GENERAL

🥊 Fight: Jonathan "The General" Haggerty vs Fabricio "Wonder Boy" Andrade 📅 Date: November 4, 2023 (Bangkok local time) 📍 Venue: Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand 🏆 Title: Vacant ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship 🔥 Event: ONE Fight Night 16 TWO WORLD CHAMPIONS. TWO DIFFERENT SPORTS. ONE VACANT THRONE. When the reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion stepped into the ring against the reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion, this was never going to be an ordinary kickboxing match. It was a collision of champions, fighting styles, egos, and ambitions — with a second world title in a second sport waiting for only one of them. 🇬🇧 JONATHAN HAGGERTY — THE GENERAL WHO SHOCKED THE WORLD Just months earlier, Jonathan "The General" Haggerty had walked into Bangkok's legendary Lumpinee Stadium to face Nong-O Hama, one of the most feared and respected champions in Muay Thai history. Nong-O had been unbeaten in ONE, defended his bantamweight crown seven times, and looked almost untouchable. Haggerty destroyed that aura in a single round. Three knockdowns. A breathtaking first-round knockout. And a stunning new ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion. But the British striking sensation was not satisfied with conquering one sport. He wanted to do something even bigger: add the vacant bantamweight kickboxing world title to his collection and prove that his speed, timing, and explosive combinations could rule under another set of rules. 🇧🇷 FABRICIO ANDRADE — THE MMA MONSTER WITH A STRIKER'S SOUL Standing across from him was no ordinary MMA fighter. Fabricio "Wonder Boy" Andrade arrived as the ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion, unbeaten in his ONE MMA appearances with six victories and one no contest. Five of those six wins had come by stoppage. His aggressive boxing, vicious body attacks, and relentless pressure had made him one of the division's most dangerous finishers. His crowning moment came against John "Hands of Stone" Lineker. Their first title encounter ended in a controversial no contest. In the rematch, Andrade pushed the battle through four punishing rounds until Lineker could not continue, capturing the vacant bantamweight MMA world championship by TKO. And here's what made this challenge even more dangerous: before building his name in MMA, Andrade had already fought more than 40 professional Muay Thai and kickboxing bouts. He wasn't simply an MMA champion trying something new. He was a proven striker returning to familiar territory — and he believed he had the power to take down The General. ⚔️ ONE RING. ONE SET OF RULES. ONE SHOT AT HISTORY. No takedowns. No submissions. No MMA safety net. Haggerty brought his razor-sharp technique, blistering speed, and the confidence of a man who had just dethroned a Muay Thai legend. Andrade brought knockout power, fearlessness, and the momentum of an undefeated run inside ONE's MMA ranks. Both had won their world titles with spectacular stoppages earlier that year. Both believed they could become a two-sport ONE World Champion. And neither intended to leave the most prestigious prize of the night in the other man's hands. Now, following Haggerty's latest statement-making victory over Hiroki Akimoto at ONE SAMURAI 4, revisit the electrifying showdown that put an MMA MONSTER face-to-face with THE GENERAL.
