Description

Zwiebeln mit Kartoffeln sind so lecker, dass ich das Gericht zweimal pro Woche zubereite! RECIPE: Ingredients: For the potato and onion balls: Potatoes — 2 Onions — 2 Flour — 2 tbsp Salt — to taste Black pepper — to taste Paprika — to taste Olive oil — for frying For the avocado sauce: Avocado — 1 Lemon — 1 (juice) Garlic — 1 clove Greek yogurt — 1 tbsp Salt — to taste Black pepper — to taste Fresh herbs — to taste 👩‍🍳 Instructions: Slice the onions into half-rings. Cut the potatoes into thin strips. Place the potatoes in a sieve and dip them into boiling water for about 30 seconds. This helps remove excess starch and makes the potatoes crispier when fried. Rinse them with cold water, transfer to a paper towel, and dry thoroughly. Place the onions in a sieve and dip them into boiling water for about 30 seconds as well. This helps reduce their sharp flavor. Rinse with cold water and dry thoroughly. Combine the potatoes and onions. Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and 2 tablespoons of flour. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands. Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Shape the potato and onion mixture into small balls and fry on both sides until beautifully golden and crispy. Transfer the cooked potato balls to a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. 🥑 Avocado Sauce: Peel and chop 1 avocado, then mash it well with a fork. Add salt and black pepper. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon, then add the garlic and 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt. Mix everything thoroughly. Finally, finely chop the fresh herbs and stir them into the sauce. Serve the hot, crispy potato and onion balls with the fresh homemade avocado sauce. Enjoy! ❤️
