Al-Qarin: Every Human Being Has One — and Most Muslims Have Never Heard the Name The Prophet محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم told his Companions رضي الله عنهم that not one of them was without a companion from the jinn. They asked, "Even you, O Messenger of Allah?" His answer, and one word inside it that the scholars read in two different ways, is where this video begins. In this documentary we trace Al-Qarin from the refusal of Iblis to prostrate to آدم عليه السلام, to the hadith of عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه in Sahih Muslim, to a night in the home of عائشة رضي الله عنها, to the gate of the mosque during i'tikaf with صفية بنت حيي رضي الله عنها, and into the rows of prayer. We also look at a second companion mentioned in one narration of Sahih Muslim that most people have never been told about: a companion from the angels. Then we look at what the Qur'an says the qarin will say on the Day of Judgement: "His [devil] companion will say, 'Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error.'"
