Today's Catholic Mass Readings — Wednesday, October 7, 2026 | Gospel Reflection

Daily Mass Readings and Gospel Reflection for Wednesday, October 7, 2026 | Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary. In today’s Gospel, the disciples see Jesus praying and ask, “Lord, teach us to pray.” In response, Jesus gives them the Lord’s Prayer, teaching us to come before God as Father, to seek His Kingdom, to trust Him for daily bread, to ask for forgiveness, and to rely on His protection in every trial. On this Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary, this reflection invites us to pray more deeply with Mary, contemplating the mysteries of Christ and allowing the words of the Lord’s Prayer to shape our daily life. True prayer is not only recitation, but communion with the Father through the Son in the Holy Spirit. ► Full Gospel listening: https://youtu.be/sLweLH9WaLk ► Timestamps: 00:00 Preface 00:21 First Reading 02:26 Gospel Reading 03:12 Gospel Reflection 16:29 Prayer 17:32 Closing Message 🕊️ May the Word of God guide your steps today.
