Today's Catholic Mass Readings — Wednesday, October 21, 2026 | Gospel Reflection

Daily Mass Readings and Gospel Reflection for Wednesday, October 21, 2026 | Wednesday of the Twenty-Ninth Week in Ordinary Time. In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls His disciples to remain watchful and faithful through the parable of the prudent steward. True readiness for the Lord’s coming is not merely waiting, but responsibly caring for everything God has entrusted to us. Jesus reminds us that much will be required of those who have received much, revealing the importance of faithful service, moral responsibility, and accountability before God. In the light of Saint Paul’s teaching in Ephesians, we are invited to follow his example of humble stewardship, recognizing that our gifts, knowledge, and faith are given not for personal privilege, but to serve others and build up the Church. Nourished by God’s grace and the Eucharist, may we become faithful stewards who reveal Christ’s love through integrity, generosity, and service. ► Full Gospel listening: https://youtu.be/sLweLH9WaLk ► Timestamps: 00:00 Preface 00:21 First Reading 02:03 Gospel Reading 03:39 Gospel Reflection 23:22 Prayer 24:42 Closing 🕊️ May the Word of God guide your steps today.
