In a king penguin colony, thousands of birds call out at once. Yet when a parent returns with food, its chick picks out that one voice from all the others, without needing to see its parent first, because it already knows that voice. There is one small detail about how that chick learns its parent's voice, and we come back to it near the end. This morning devotional walks through three truths: God is still speaking to you (Job 33:14, 1 Samuel 3:10, Jeremiah 33:3, Isaiah 30:21), stillness makes room for His voice (Luke 10:41–42, Psalm 46:10, Lamentations 3:26), and closeness makes His voice familiar (John 10:27, John 20:16, Proverbs 8:34). Along the way we sit with young Samuel in the house of the Lord, with Mary at the feet of Jesus, and with Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb in the moment He spoke one word: her name. Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over your mind, your family, your finances, your healing and your breakthrough, in the mighty name of Jesus. 🙏 If this prayer blessed you, comment "AMEN" and share it with someone who can't hear God over the noise right now. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a morning prayer. 📖 CHAPTERS 0:00 The King Penguin Chick That Knows One Voice in the Crowd 0:53 Lord, Help Me Recognize Your Voice Above the Noise 1:15 God May Speak in One Way or Another (Job 33:14) 1:40 The One Detail About How the Chick Learns Its Parent's Voice 2:11 God Is Still Speaking to You 2:41 Young Samuel Mistook God's Voice for a Man's 3:40 Speak, for Your Servant Hears (1 Samuel 3:10) 4:16 Call to Me and I Will Answer You (Jeremiah 33:3) 4:45 This Is the Way, Walk in It (Isaiah 30:21) 5:32 Stillness Makes Room for His Voice 6:17 Martha and Mary — Busy for Jesus or Listening to Him 6:55 One Thing Is Needed (Luke 10:41–42) 7:44 Be Still, and Know That I Am God (Psalm 46:10) 8:32 Hope and Wait Quietly for the Lord (Lamentations 3:26) 9:04 Closeness Makes His Voice Familiar 9:20 The Penguin Chick Retraced — Learned Up Close at Its Parent's Feet 9:56 My Sheep Hear My Voice (John 10:27) 10:21 Mary Magdalene Weeping at the Empty Tomb 11:07 He Spoke One Word: Her Name (John 20:16) 11:44 Watching Daily at His Gates (Proverbs 8:34) 12:43 Stay Close, and You Will Know It Is Him 13:15 Morning Prayer to Hear God's Voice Today 16:36 Praying in Agreement — Standing Together This Morning 17:46 Amen — Receive the Blessings of This Prayer Scriptures in this prayer (NKJV): Job 33:14 • 1 Samuel 3:10 • Jeremiah 33:3 • Isaiah 30:21 • Luke 10:41–42 • Psalm 46:10 • Lamentations 3:26 • John 10:27 • John 20:16 • Proverbs 8:34 #MorningPrayer #VoiceOfGod #DailyJesusPrayers
