Before a firefighter steps into a burning building, a partner stands in front of them and checks every strap, every seal and every buckle, because once that door opens, no one can reach in and fix what was left undone. Praying over your family before they leave works the same way. You cannot follow them everywhere they go, but your prayers can, and they will arrive before they do. This morning devotional walks through three truths: God goes ahead of your family when you cover them in prayer, from the blood on the doorposts in Egypt to the angels He gives charge over your loved ones (Psalm 121:8, Exodus 12:13, Psalm 91:11); your spoken blessing carries real weight, as Job rose early to cover each child by name and God gave His people the very words to bless their households (Job 1:5, Numbers 6:24-26); and there is peace when you trust God with the ones you cannot see, the way Hannah lent Samuel to the Lord and then worshiped (1 Samuel 1:27-28, Isaiah 54:13). Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over your family, your home, your provision, your healing and your breakthrough, in the mighty name of Jesus. 🙏 If this prayer blessed you, comment "AMEN" and share it with someone who prays over their family every morning. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a morning prayer.
