Here’s an easy hack for installing heavy 2x10 form boards when you’re by yourself. First, I grab everything I need at The Home Depot. @HomeDepot #HomeDepotPartner They sell professional tools and have all the materials I need for a job like this. I start by screwing a 12” block on both ends of the 2”x10”. I place the bottom of the block 4” down from the top of the form board. Now the blocks can rest on top of the foundation wall, and I don’t have to hold the heavy board. Next, I cut a wedge our of a piece of 2”x4”. S Sliding the wedge under the block lets me make small adjustments to the height and the board won’t move as I fasten it. Honestly, this is a great system.
