Today's Catholic Mass Readings — Tuesday, October 6, 2026 | Gospel Reflection

Daily Mass Readings and Gospel Reflection for Tuesday, October 6, 2026 | Tuesday of the Twenty-Seventh Week in Ordinary Time. In today’s Gospel, Jesus enters the house of Martha and Mary, revealing the right order of Christian discipleship. Martha serves generously, but becomes anxious and troubled, while Mary sits at the Lord’s feet and listens to His word. This reflection invites us to see that Jesus does not oppose action and contemplation; He restores their proper order. Before working for the Lord, the disciple must be with the Lord. In the light of Saint Paul’s conversion and mission in Galatians, we are called to let prayer nourish service, let the Word of God purify our activity, and choose the “good portion” that cannot be taken away. ► Full Gospel listening: https://youtu.be/sLweLH9WaLk ► Timestamps: 00:00 Preface 00:22 First Reading 01:58 Gospel Reading 02:44 Gospel Reflection 15:47 Prayer 16:48 Closing Message 🕊️ May the Word of God guide your steps today.
