Our hearts work the same way every morning: whatever they see first, they follow. For most of us, that is a glowing screen full of other people's demands before our eyes are fully open. This spoken morning devotional walks through three truths. God is already waiting before you wake, and your first reach is a quiet act of trust (Psalm 139:17-18, Psalm 16:8, Proverbs 3:6, Jacob at Bethel in Genesis 28:15-18). And God prepares fresh bread for you every single morning, with a small detail hidden in Exodus that most people read right past about what happened to the manna when the sun grew hot (Exodus 16:4, 16:20-21, Matthew 6:11, John 6:35, Isaiah 50:4).
