Daily Bible Verse + Prayer for Today | Job 23:10 | Morning Devotional

Does God feel silent in the middle of your struggle? Begin your day with Job 23:10 and a comforting morning prayer reminding you that God knows your path, even when you cannot sense His presence. “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” - Job 23:10 (KJV) Job knew the pain of searching for God and feeling unable to find Him. After devastating loss, he looked forward, backward, left, and right, struggling to understand where God was in his suffering. Then he spoke these words: “But he knoweth the way that I take.” Even while Job struggled to perceive God, he trusted that God knew him. Every step of his difficult road remained known to the Lord. In today’s morning devotional, we reflect on faith during seasons of silence and the confidence behind Job’s declaration, “I shall come forth as gold.” His words invite us to keep seeking God, bring our questions honestly before Him, and trust His knowledge of the road we cannot fully understand. Today’s Scripture encourages us to: • Remember that feeling unseen does not mean God has forgotten us. • Bring our grief, questions, and uncertainty to Him in prayer. • Ask Him to strengthen our faith through trials. • Continue walking faithfully, even while answers remain unclear. Perhaps you are carrying a burden that few people understand. You can bring that quiet heaviness to God today. Ask Him for comfort, strength for the next step, and help to keep doing what is right.
