Description

A bakery. Fresh bread. The whole street stops. You walk past. One trick: your skin turns sunlight into food. Four hours of sun fills your tank for a whole day. You skip breakfast, lunch and dinner, you skip a wedding buffet that sends twelve guests to hospital, and you get back about two hours a day, a full month every year. Then you take the one place on Earth where the summer sun never sets, and where every explorer's biggest problem is food: Antarctica. You start with a sled that weighs nothing. 💬 What would you do with thirty extra days a year? Tell us in the comments. 👍 If you want Part 2 ("What If You Never Needed to Breathe?"), hit like and subscribe for more what-ifs. But no light means no fuel. Your skin goes a little green, dark days leave you slow, and the tank only holds three days. Then a flare flashes in the whiteout, and you have to choose between a world record and the one thing an empty sled is really for. This is a fictional "what if" story: the sunlight-skin treatment, Dr. Ross, Elsa, Sam and the 62-day record are made up. Real skin in full sun would make roughly one banana of energy a day (our own rough estimate: about 1 m² of skin facing the sun × about 5 kWh/m²/day × about 2 % efficiency), so you cannot skip meals yet. Calorie, time and money figures are rounded. Please don't try to fast, or to cross Antarctica, at home. what if, what if you never needed to eat, never eat again, live on sunlight, photosynthesis human, human photosynthesis, sea slug photosynthesis, Elysia chlorotica, Angus Barbieri, longest fast, Antarctica crossing, Borge Ousland, polar expedition, stickman animation, what if animation, what if series, science explained, no food challenge, eating time per day, skip meals, solar powered human
