Description

The top shelf. You don't reach. You hop. One change: you can jump ten times higher. A normal person jumps about half a metre. You jump five, with two whole seconds in the air. You skip stairs, clear fences and parked cars, hop over a taxi that runs a red light, and leave a signature on every ceiling in the house. You place the ball in the hoop from above, climb a ten-metre wall in two jumps and walk into the high jump, where the world record is 2.45 metres. Then the Olympic final comes, the bar sits at exactly five metres, and for two seconds you hang above the stands and see something nobody else can. But gravity did not change, and neither did your bones. You go up like a rocket and come down like everyone else: a five-metre fall every single time, no steering in the air, and a knee that remembers every landing. Then the jump clock starts, and you have to choose between a bar nobody has ever cleared and the one thing a jump is really for. Anyone can go up. Only some come back down for somebody. 💬 What would you jump over first? Tell us in the comments. 👍 If you want Part 2 ("What If You Could Jump 100x Higher?"), hit like and subscribe for more what-ifs. This is a fictional "what if" story: the leg treatment, Dr. Ross, Lily, Sam, the Olympic final, the burning building and the five-metre bar are made up. A real person cannot jump five metres, and a real five-metre fall can break bones, so please don't try this at home (or on a balcony). Heights, speeds and times are rounded; the fire-truck time and the exact clock are story details. what if, what if you could jump 10x higher, jump 10x higher, jump 5 metres, vertical jump, high jump world record, Sotomayor, Javier Sotomayor, Duplantis, pole vault, froghopper, froghopper jump, moon gravity jump, jump height physics, superhuman jump, stickman animation, what if animation, what if series, science explained, basketball dunk, volleyball block, Olympic high jump, 2.45 m
