Description

📗 Save $2,000 A Year On Whiskey With My Distiller Methods: https://wadecooperdistiller.com You are standing in the bourbon aisle with the red wax already in your hand. Maker's Mark, 36 dollars and 99 cents. Two shelves down, about the height of your knee, there is a bottle with wheat in it too. It says 100 proof instead of 90, and it costs 15 dollars less. You have walked past it every time, and nobody ever told you it was there. In this video I count down seven bottles that cost less than the Maker's at the state store, and every one of them beats it on something printed on its own glass: the proof, the recipe, or the law. Along the way you will hear about a building in Louisville that helped Maker's Mark get started more than 70 years ago, and which bottle on the bottom shelf still carries one of its old names. I made bourbon for 34 years, most of it at the warehouse end, and for years I filled barrels that went out under other people's names. Nobody paid me to make this video, no company sent me a bottle, and there is no code. Every price comes off the Virginia state list this month, and yours should land within a few dollars. Your homework this weekend: buy one bottle off this list, whichever one your store has, and pour it next to your Maker's, the same amount in the same size glass. For the first five minutes, do not drink either one. Look at them, smell them, and turn both bottles around and read the backs. Then drink, and decide which one goes back on your shelf. Then tell me in the comments the town you are in and what number one costs at your store this week.
