📗 Save $2,000 A Year On Whiskey With My Distiller Methods: https://wadecooperdistiller.com Two bottles of Scotch are on my kitchen counter tonight. Both say 12 on the front, both come out of the same corner of Scotland, and there are about 7 dollars between them. One of them you have walked past in every liquor store you have ever been in. The other one went into some of the most famous bottles in the world for about 90 years, and almost nobody who drank it ever read its name. In this video I count down the seven greatest Scotch whisky names ever made, and I tell you plainly why you have never heard of half of them. For most of the history of Scotch, a distillery was not a name. It was an ingredient. Some were shut by one office in the same year, one was shut and then robbed, and one never let anybody else touch it at all, from wet barley on a stone floor to the label on the bottle. I spent 34 years on the making side of whisky, and a great many of the used bourbon barrels I minded went on a boat to Scotland. None of this is my discovery; the folks who spend their lives in old Scotch records found it. Nobody paid me to make this video, and no company sent me a bottle. Your homework this week: go to the Scotch shelf, keep your hands in your pockets for the first five minutes, and pick up three single malts with names you have never heard of. Read each one for an age, a strength over 40 percent, and the words natural color or not chill filtered, and buy the one that has the most of those three. Pour an inch, put the glass in the freezer for twenty minutes, and look at it before you smell it. Then tell me in the comments what town you are in and what number one costs at your store this week.
