Description

📗 Save $2,000 A Year On Whiskey With My Distiller Methods: https://wadecooperdistiller.com You are standing in the Costco liquor aisle holding the Elijah Craig, 28 dollars and 19 cents, and you remember when that same name said 12 years old on the front. The 12 came off the label in 2016. The price did not come off with it. The same company makes the same recipe, off the same still in Louisville, and sends it out the door under a plainer label for about 7 dollars less. It is stronger than yours, by law, and nobody in that aisle is going to point at it. In this video I tell you its name, where it sits on the shelf, how to pour it so it stands up next to the one you put back, and the federal rule from 1897 that lets you do the same trick with a lot of the famous names on that pallet. I spent 34 years in the industry, and for part of those years I walked the warehouse floors with a clipboard and sorted barrels into names. Same whiskey, different floor, different label, different price. Nobody paid me to make this video, and no company sent me a bottle. Your homework: on the way home, find the white label on the bottom shelf, read the two plant numbers on the back, and make sure it says 100 and not 86. Pour an ounce and a half of it next to the bourbon you already own, put a little over half a teaspoon of water in the white label, let both glasses sit five minutes, and decide with your own nose. Then tell me in the comments what town you are in, what the Costco nearest you wants for the Elijah Craig this week, and what the white label costs at the store you drive past.
