The Thank You Jesus Prayed Before Lazarus Walked Out | A Prayer of Thanksgiving

A prayer of thanksgiving built on the thank you Jesus prayed before Lazarus walked out of the tomb (John 11:41-42). This morning prayer will teach you how to thank God while the stone is still in place, and answers the question most people read right past: Jesus thanked the Father for hearing a prayer John never wrote down. This morning devotional walks through three truths. First, that Jesus gave thanks before the miracle appeared, while the body was still wrapped and the grave still silent (Psalm 50:23, John 11:17, John 11:39-40, John 11:41-42, Mark 11:24, 2 Corinthians 4:18). Second, the prayer the Bible never recorded — where in John 11 the request was actually made, and what Daniel's twenty-one days of waiting reveal about being heard on day one (John 11:4-6, John 11:11, Daniel 10:2-3, Daniel 10:12-13, Isaiah 65:24). Third, why Jesus spoke His thank you out loud, what Jonah's voice of thanksgiving from inside the fish has to do with your waiting season, and the detail at the end of the story most of us miss: Lazarus walked out alive and still bound, and the people who heard the thank you were told to loose him (John 11:45, Jonah 1:17, Jonah 2:9-10, Colossians 4:2, John 11:43-44). Stay to the end for a blessed prayer over every tomb you are standing in front of, your family, your finances, your healing and your breakthrough, in the mighty name of Jesus. 🙏 If this prayer blessed you, comment "THANK YOU LORD" and share it with someone who is still waiting on an answer. 🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a morning prayer. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 September 1846 — The Letter That Found Neptune Before Anyone Saw It 0:38 Jesus at the Tomb in Bethany — Four Days Dead (John 11) 1:12 His First Words Were Thank You (Psalm 50:23) 1:57 The Prayer John Never Recorded — The Question This Message Answers 2:32 Today I Will Show You Why Jesus Gave Thanks Before Lazarus Walked Out 2:51 Truth 1 — Jesus Gave Thanks Before the Miracle Appeared 3:27 Martha, Mary and the Four-Day Delay (John 11:17) 4:21 Lord, By This Time There Is a Stench (John 11:39-40) 5:22 Father, I Thank You That You Have Heard Me (John 11:41-42) 6:26 The Mathematician Trusted His Numbers — Jesus Trusted the Father 7:18 Believe That You Receive Them, and You Will Have Them (Mark 11:24) 8:27 We Look at the Things Which Are Not Seen (2 Corinthians 4:18) 9:08 What Tomb Are You Standing in Front Of? 9:51 Truth 2 — The Prayer the Bible Never Recorded 10:27 This Sickness Is Not Unto Death (John 11:4-6) 11:51 The Tomb Only Heard the Thank You 12:24 Daniel Waited 21 Days but Was Heard on Day One (Daniel 10:12-13) 13:57 Before They Call, I Will Answer (Isaiah 65:24) 14:50 A Simple Way to Start Thanking God Before You See It 15:49 Truth 3 — Why Jesus Spoke His Thank You Aloud (John 11:45) 16:50 Your Thank You Is a Testimony Before the Testimony Arrives 17:42 Jonah Gave Thanks From Inside the Fish (Jonah 2:9-10) 19:53 Continue Earnestly in Prayer With Thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2) 20:32 Lazarus Retraced — Loose Him, and Let Him Go (John 11:43-44) 21:30 When Your Miracle Comes Out Wearing Graveclothes 22:27 Conclusion — Say Thank You Before Anything Moves 23:08 A Blessed Prayer of Thanksgiving Begins — Heavenly Father 31:16 Praying in Agreement — Standing Together This Morning 32:11 In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen Scriptures in this prayer (NKJV): Psalm 50:23 • John 11:17 • John 11:39 • John 11:40 • John 11:41-42 • Mark 11:24 • 2 Corinthians 4:18 • John 11:4 • John 11:5-6 • John 11:11 • Daniel 10:2-3 • Daniel 10:12 • Daniel 10:13 • Isaiah 65:24 • John 11:45 • Jonah 1:17 • Jonah 2:9-10 • Colossians 4:2 • John 11:43 • John 11:44 #MorningPrayer #PrayerOfThanksgiving #Lazarus
