Today's Catholic Mass Readings — Tuesday, October 13, 2026 | Gospel Reflection

Daily Mass Readings and Gospel Reflection for Tuesday, October 13, 2026 | Tuesday of the Twenty-Eighth Week in Ordinary Time In today’s Gospel, Jesus dines at the house of a Pharisee and teaches a profound lesson about true purity before God. The issue is not ordinary cleanliness, nor the value of outward religious signs, but the danger of ritual separated from conversion of heart. This reflection invites us to examine whether our faith is only external appearance, or truly “faith working through love.” In the light of Saint Paul’s teaching in Galatians, we are called to live in the freedom Christ has given: a life where worship, prayer, charity, and the Eucharist purify the heart and bear fruit in mercy, justice, humility, and love. ► Full Gospel listening: https://youtu.be/sLweLH9WaLk ► Timestamps: 00:00 Preface 00:22 First Reading 01:19 Gospel Reading 02:03 Gospel Reflection 17:55 Prayer 19:02 Closing 🕊️ May the Word of God guide your steps today.
