Description
God has not forgotten you. In your waiting, your grief, and the moments when you feel distant from Him, your heavenly Father sees you. Join Inspired Topics for a Sunday Bible study and prayer about God’s love, the hope we have through Jesus Christ, and what it means to live as a child of God.
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.” - 1 John 3:1, KJV
Today, we slow down and go deeper into God’s Word through a personal testimony of four years of waiting, three heartbreaking miscarriages, and the love a father experienced when his daughter was born.
That experience opened a window into something far greater: the love our heavenly Father has for His children. As deeply as an earthly parent can love, that love offers only a glimpse of His compassion, faithfulness, and care.
Perhaps you are praying for a child. Perhaps you are grieving someone you love, carrying the pain of an absent father, or wondering whether God still sees what you are going through. This message invites you to bring those burdens before Him and find encouragement in His Word.
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” - Psalm 34:18, KJV
Together, we explore how God demonstrated His love by sending His only begotten Son. From Adam’s disobedience in the garden to the obedience of Jesus Christ, we reflect on sin, separation, and the way back to fellowship with the Father through our Savior.
IN THIS SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY:
• How a parent’s love helps us reflect on the Father’s compassion.
• What Scripture says about God remembering His people.
• How John 3:16 reveals a love that acts and gives.
• The first Adam, the last Adam, and reconciliation through Jesus.
• Choosing God’s Word and staying connected to Him.
• Sharing faith with our children through small, faithful moments.
Stay with us for a declaration to carry into the week and a closing prayer for parents, grieving families, those waiting for a child, those who have experienced an absent or hurtful father, and anyone longing to draw closer to God.
YOUR DECLARATION FOR THE WEEK
"I am loved by my Father in heaven. His love for me is greater than any love I have ever known. He gave His only begotten Son, so that I could be reconnected to Him. I am no longer separated. I am no longer hiding. Through Jesus, the second Adam, I have been brought back to the Father. This week, I choose His Word. I choose His way. I choose life. And as I stay connected to Him, I will walk in everything He has for me. In Jesus' name, amen."
Save this declaration, write it in your journal, or return to it during the week. Reflect on the Scriptures behind it, especially when you need to remember who you belong to.
