Description

Horus Has Only Got One Ball — a cheerful Warhammer 40K Imperial Guard marching and drinking song inspired by the tradition of old British military and wartime barracks songs. Ten thousand years ago, Warmaster Horus betrayed the Emperor of Mankind and plunged humanity into the civil war known as the Horus Heresy. Brother fought brother. Worlds burned. The Traitor Legions marched on Terra. But according to Imperial Guard folklore, the Emperor defeated Horus so thoroughly that the Guardsmen are still singing about it ten thousand years later. And they have developed several theories about the other Traitor Primarchs too. Horus. Lorgar. Fulgrim. Angron. Magnus. Perturabo. Nobody is safe from a Guardsman's sense of humour. And, of course, there is Erebus. Because it's always bloody Erebus. Inspired by the comic cadence and irreverent tradition of British wartime marching and soldiers' songs, this original Warhammer 40K song combines cheerful military whistling, lively brass, marching boots, regimental vocals and the sort of anatomical speculation that probably should not appear in an official Munitorum songbook. It draws on the same old military-song tradition associated with tunes such as Colonel Bogey and the famously disrespectful wartime song "Hitler Has Only Got One Ball", reimagined here for the soldiers of the 41st Millennium. Astra Militarum morale may vary. Perfect for marching, walking, hiking, working out, running, yard work, gardening, painting Warhammer miniatures, kitbashing, tabletop gaming, or simply enjoying a thoroughly disrespectful military drinking song. For fans of Warhammer 40K, the Imperial Guard, Astra Militarum, the Horus Heresy, military marching songs, British wartime music, barracks humour, soldiers' songs and comedy music. For the Emperor!
