Description
Two chapters of the Holy Qur'an carry the names of creatures most of us would never stop to notice — the bee and the ant. Why would Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Lord of the entire universe, speak to mankind about a fly, a mosquito, a locust and a moth?
In this documentary we follow seven tiny creatures mentioned in the Holy Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah — from the mountains where the bee builds its home, through the land of Pharaoh, into the valley of the ants in the time of سليمان عليه السلام, and all the way to the Day of Judgement — alongside what researchers have only recently uncovered about these same creatures.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The difference between the inspiration given to the bee and the revelation sent down to the Prophets عليهم السلام — and why the two must never be confused
How the honeybee communicates direction and distance, and why every cell of the honeycomb has six sides
Why the locust was sent as a distinct sign upon the people of Pharaoh, and what changes inside a desert locust when it joins a swarm
What the ant said in the valley, how سليمان عليه السلام responded, and what research has found about alarm signals inside an ant colony
Why the death of سليمان عليه السلام proves that knowledge of the unseen belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى alone — not to the jinn, nor to anyone claiming news from them
How the example of the fly dismantles the worship of false idols, and what the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم taught about the fly in daily life
Why Allah سبحانه وتعالى is not shy to give the example of a mosquito, and how the same example guides one heart and misguides another
What researchers discovered in 2024 about why moths circle a flame, and the example the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم gave fourteen centuries earlier
The verse that ties all seven creatures together

A NOTE ON SOURCES
Everything presented as confirmed here is taken from the Holy Qur'an or authentic hadith, with the source named. Where a detail comes only from tafsir — such as the identity of the creature that ate the staff — it is presented as the statement of those scholars, not as established fact. The scientific findings are offered as a means of reflection, not as tafsir of the verses. Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows best.
