Description

🔗 Save $3,000 A Year the Mountain Way. Get the Full Manual 👉 https://www.arliecaudill.com A creek full of water does you no good if it makes you sick. I was raised up a holler in Letcher County, Kentucky, and my Papaw showed me how to get a drink from a wild grapevine on the ridge. In this video I show you how to run dirty creek water through a living grapevine and catch clean water in a jar. All it takes is two jars, a pocketknife, and a couple of hours. I also show a second way, using a peeled pine limb in a bottle. The vine stops the germs that wash down from cattle upstream. It will not stop viruses or chemicals, and I tell you plainly when you still need to boil your water. It is good for camping, backpacking, or anybody who wants to know how to get water from the woods. Do not forget to subscribe. I put out a new video every week on gardening, canning, foraging, and the old ways of doing for yourself. #appalachia #appalachiantrail #waterfilter #survival #waterpurification #backpacking #oldways #appalachianway
