Description

Four young Burger Chef employees vanish while closing the restaurant for the night, only to be found murdered two days later. Decades later, their killer, or killers, still haven’t been identified. A pregnant 20-year-old disappears during a walk of barely one block, and deleted cell phone messages eventually help expose her killer. Investigators determined she had been strangled, and both her death and the death of her unborn son were ruled homicides. The investigation soon focused on Tiffanie's stepbrother, Johnus Orr. Cell phone records revealed that messages supposedly sent from a stranger's phone on the day Tiffanie disappeared had actually come from Tiffanie's phone. Investigators later recovered the phone from Lake Sullivan and restored deleted messages that became critical evidence against him. In 2016, Orr was convicted of murdering both Tiffanie and Brynsten and sentenced to 120 years in prison. 🕵 The Burger Chef Murders — Speedway, Indiana On the night of November 17, 1978, four young employees were closing the Burger Chef restaurant on Crawfordsville Road when they mysteriously vanished.
